| Bio | Urbanus Azupogo, MSc (Health Promotion), MSc (Land Governance and Policy), BSc (Land Management), is a dedicated Public Health Researcher with a diverse academic background and extensive experience in health promotion, land management, and community development. He completed his Master of Science in Health Promotion at Queen’s University and holds another MSc in Land Governance and Policy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Urbanus also earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Land Management from the University for Development Studies (UDS).
Urbanus’s work primarily focuses on the intersection of land governance, public health, and community development, particularly in vulnerable African communities. His research interests include exploring the impacts of land policies on health outcomes, promoting health equity, and developing sustainable land use practices. In his current role, Urbanus collaborates with various health and land management organizations to develop and implement strategies aimed at improving health outcomes and ensuring land tenure security. He is also actively involved in mentoring young entrepreneurs and fostering business development through his entrepreneurial ventures, including Urbane Holdings and its subsidiaries. Outside of his professional pursuits, Urbanus enjoys exploring different cultures, trying international cuisines, and engaging in outdoor activities. His commitment to positive societal impact drives his continuous efforts in research, innovation, and community empowerment. |
